Research and Evaluation

The Family Support Program is committed to evaluating all of its activities and to strengthening program effectiveness.

Three major goals of research and evaluation at Family Support Program at the School of Social Work are:

  • To learn how we are helping the people we are serving
  • To assess how we can improve our program activities
  • To develop a more rigorous research base for the study of family support, especially in collaboration with other community and university based organizations concerned with family support in North Carolina
