EVIDENCE BASE FOR FAMILY SUPPORT - FSP seeks to engage in research studies that contribute to a better understanding of the elements of family support services that have positive impact for families. Ongoing research helps to determine the evidence base for interventions that improve outcomes for families with children who have special needs.

Issue briefs help inform families, service providers, and policy makers about topics of interest to families with children who have special needs. These information sheets describe such issues as transition to adulthood, work-life challenges, respite care, and educational advocacy, provides references to journal articles on the topic, and provide tips for families on successfully dealing with these issues.
